Great colors, easy control.

We used this as our porch lights on the front of our house. It is the length of our porch and lights it really well. Looks great from the street.
Fun lights with lots of color possibilities. Remote works well when pointed at the sensor (even through a window).
We change the colors for each holiday to keep it fun, and use the alternating color setting on the more festive holidays.
The only real problem is that the power supply doesn't seem to have enough juice to keep the lights at the end as vibrant as the lights at the beginning. Other reviewers have suggesting upgrading the power supply.
We didn't use the built-in sticky tape on the back since this was going outside, so we used little rubber mounts along the entire string to keep it mounted through all the weather.
Lasted years outside under the porch until we decided to take it down to paint and get different lights.

Ordered for Christmas decor and they look great. Was concerned, because other places list them as "fairy lights", that they would be too small or dim to be seen from the street. Not the case at all. They are very bright and despite their small size they are well seen from far away. Also been through several rainstorms unprotected and have not shown ill effects. They are only four colors, red green blue and white, just like the description says so make sure you're not looking for the rainbow. Only issue is because they come so tightly coiled it's hard to get them perfectly straight so I just left them wavy. Maybe with enough work and desire you could get the wave completely out, but I did not have it. Wish I could only take away a half point for it but alas...

I gave this light to my niece and she absolutely loves it. Now there is enough rope line to have for even a christmas tree if you wanted to. Now one of the big cons about this is that it does run on battery only which can be a bit annoying. I would have liked it to have a plug but on battery it can last several hours on depending on the intensity of the light. The settings are written on the battery box so you can scroll through those in order to have the perfect setting for yourself. This is a pretty bright light but not enough to be blinding. Be aware that there are light flashes so if you are prone to seizures just be aware of that. There light cable itself is strong enough to hold shape but not too strong where you can't move it around. This can work for indoor and I would not recommend using this for any outdoor or water as you may actually damage. It runs on three triple A batteries and the lighting can rotate, stream or just be one solid color. Overall I think this product is great but it does have limited power.

The quality seems to be good so far. Perhaps it is my fault for misunderstanding, but these lights are not RGB. There is no blending of color like true RGB and also no selection for just one color at a time.
