I bought this for myself. It reminded me of the RadioShack robot arm I had when I was a kid. It took me a couple hours to put together and I thoroughly enjoyed building it. My only complaint is that the RadioShack model allowed the claw to rotate 360 degrees around. I wish this did the same. Outside of this one thing, it is a lot of fun. I now keep it on the dinner table and use it to pass the salt. My poor family!

My 10yo built this all on his own with very little help from me. My only complaint is I wish it had more information on the whys and what's behind the robotics assembly of this project. I think it's less for STEAM learning and more of a model for display. My son did enjoy building this and proudly displays it in his room.

We bought this as a gift for my 11 year old son. He needed some adult help to assemble it (especially turning the little screws), but he loves playing with it. It's able to grab and move little things (think hotwheels or smaller). It has a little light at the end of the arm, which he loves.
