worth it!

carrying pack is small, not very heavy. good for sleeping outside in hammocks. only complaint is that the ends didn't attach easy to the hammock straps without sliding, and that there's no way to close the top over you. I used a cord to tie it tighter around me in the hammock. if you don't, it gets too cold.
Nice and warm!

In the low 40's it kept us very warm with a 50* sleeping bag.
Nice, inexpensive spring/fall underquilt

It isn't the lightest or the warmest, but it is about half the price for an ENO underquilt rated at the same temperature. Elastic shock cord has plenty of length so you can fiddle with it for the right fit. I have a really long hammock (11' I think) and I like to keep the underquilt covering more of my head and less of my feet. I just did two nights in high 30°-low 40° weather, and this underquilt coupled with an inflatable camp pad and a light top quilt left me sweating.
This isn't for your winter AT through-hike: it's too heavy and not warm enough for that. But for weekend back-packing in mild temperatures it is an excellent choice.

Only used it once, so far. Three nights in upper Wisconsin. Weather was mid 40s to mid 30s. Really made a big difference.
