This is the second pair of boots I ordered. I returned the first pair because the olive color didn't look like the pictures. I reordered brown suede, and am so glad I did because I think the first pair of boots I received were fake Thursday boots. Everything about the olive ones was different: the sole, leather. The first pair of boots came loose in a plastic bag in a cardboard Amazon box while the second pair came in a Thursday boot box with an inspection card. The leather is thicker, more durable the sole is has better traction on the brown suede boots. I'm happy with the second pair.

I have wanted to purchase this boot for a long time & am not disappointed. I'm a size 8 1/2 & sized up to a 9. So glad I did. They fit snug @ first but I believe they will loosen with wear. I'm taking them on a trip to Yellowstone next week & can't wait to wear them.

Love these boots - the sole and uppers are quality. The toe shape is neither too pointed, nor too wide. The black leather doesn't look too shiny, or cheap as opposed to similar boots in a slightly lower price range.
My only concern is a few loose/overly large threads in the stitching; for this price, I would expect a little better quality control.
Otherwise, a lovely boot that I look forward to wearing.
