I live in Arizona, and it gets warm here. By the time the Jimmy Deans got here they were as warm as the sunny sky. Totally thawed and at room temperature. There was absolutely not cold packaging. The Jimmy Deans were just thrown into a cardboard box and shipped. So far, I have not gotten sick off them. I did immediately refreeze them.
