Have bought these socks for years black and white. They have changed the way they are made, less cotton. These socks are not as dense as the old. They are weaved looser which makes them stretch more. Not saying they are not as good, but different. These are softer and have had the newer type for a couple of months and have held up.

They are a bit thin and they feel slippery from the synthetic materials but they don't squeeze my legs too tight and are comfortable, we'll see how durable they are. I was glad to find a pair of socks appropriate to my size 11 shoe size. Anyone who says a sock will fit size 6 to 12 is nuts! they are always too tight.
