Great set, the wood came split on ours

We have some other Melissa and Doug magnetic dress up dolls and I really love this style of case over the open tray. This set did come with a piece of the wood split on the side, so I am going to have to try to wood glue it back together to use the carrying case. The lid does require the mermaid and dolphin to stay affixed while in transit since they don't fit inside. They are pretty secure, so it shouldn't be an issue. It also has a carrying handle. This is a good size to take on the go. This set has a good number of options for tails and tops and some accessories. I like that the doll flips for a darker skin tone. There are a lot of small magnets here so the omission of the accessories is necessary for children that still put things in their mouth. A child could still have a lot of fun with this - and just put away the accessories - until the they're ready or while a smaller child is not around.

We use a lot of Melissa and Doug toys at our preschool. They are typically well-made and durable (and don't require batteries-fueled by imagination!)...but unfortunately the dolphin piece arrived split on the bottom. This won't last at my school. Would appreciate another dolphin piece, otherwise toy is in good order.
