Ordered it for my wife's birthday to replace her old one. It arrived really fast, and my wife *loves* the nearly 6' long cord! It extends across our living room to the far side of the sofa (her favorite corner) without struggle or having to max-out the console's cord length. I am only not giving it five stars (yet) because we have only had it for two days (so I can't fairly say anything about lifespan)... Also, my wife did mention a movement in one of her favorite sonic games only working if she held a button down as if it were unusual for that game. However, I didn't investigate what she was talking about to clarify if that was a game glitch, perhaps a trick of her memory since she hadn't been able to play it for about a year, Or if it was a button malfunction on the controller itself. I am going to assume it's a game glitch or a patchy memory issue for now as there have been no other complaints. But we'll give it more time and put it to the real test by seeing how accurate it is at dropping the blocks in the right place in Tetris, and come back for another honest review! Hahaha.

If I see no malfunctions, (clear up the confusion regarding the button in sonic), it lasts a good while and handles Tetris well, then I'll be back with a Five-star rating for sure. We are pleased!!

Everything about this controller is great. The buttons all feel fantastic, and the cord is very long. It's lightweight, especially compared to controllers for more modern systems, but that's to be expected, so it's not a huge deal. The plastic, and even the material the cord is made of, all feel high quality, and I expect this to last for years. Even the packaging looks very nice. When considering the price I paid for this, this was a fantastic purchase, and it should probably be option number one for people in the market for a Genesis controller.

I love how long the cord is. I can actually sit on the couch and play!

The buttons feel a little "wobbly" or "loose" but when playing this is unnoticeable.
Originally I bought this one and the BIG6 model. but the BIG6 had an unresponsive C button.
This model works perfect and I am very happy with the two I own. I am using them on a Sega Genesis Model 2.
For the price and being a "new" product I'd say its worth every penny.
I recommend this model over the BIG6 based solely on my own experience with both.
