No advance warning that you had to fill the base with water to get the sign to be stable.

Other than my worry that water might leak out of the base, the unit is very good, works well, and does the job. I am not unhappy that we purchased it, would just like to have known about the water filled base. I assumed it was some weighted material instead. I guess you could put sand in it if sand was hardy.--Chuck

I'm not sure if it's worth the price I paid but it served it's purpose. I bought this stand to use at a graduation ceremony I plan for my daughter this pass June. The pole some how came apart and it took me a minute to put it back to together after taking it out the box. There was no instructions on how to set it up. So it took a minute to figure out how to open it. The pole is light weight and sturdy but if feels like it could be easily bent if mishandled. The base has to be filled with water and there is a metal plate that cover it and then you screw the pole part of the stand to the base. As long as no one messes with it. It works just find. The best part about the sign is the fact that I can rotate it 360%. Would I recommend it to someone else, yes it was pretty simple to use.
