You can tell this is beetroot powder. The smell, look, and texture is right. Yes beets are earthy and smell. If you are genuinely looking for healthy, unaltered beetroot, then this is your stuff. If you are looking for something with artificial sweeteners and other garbage additives then go somewhere else or add it yourself.

I purchased these for my brother and I purchased the powder for myself. They seem to work very great. My brother does not like powdered things so I got him the tablets. He seems to enjoy them. I do recommend these so far so great very happy :-)

I'm happy with the purchase. I replaced my other beet powder cause it was too sweet. I love the earthy taste of beets and always have. I get a bit more than the average container when you shop around. Another thing I noticed was when my other powder sat for a while mixed up"¦.. it would turn brown almost. This KOS seems to have a better bottle mix stability? Dunno but I like it!! Thanks KOS!
