I decided to try this brand of Korean chicken flour mix. It fries up very good like good tempura batter. The flour needs a little more seasoning like salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, or whatever you like. It was good after I made sauce to toss the in. By itself it was "ight".

Excellent product. Very easy to use. Mix with equal parts cold water. Nicely seasoned straight out of the bag but can easily be adjusted to preference. Good for all variety of fried chicken (regular, Korean, Sesame, Orange). Also good for fish like Cod. Slight adjustments in thickness (a little more or less water) will make for a lighter or thicker batter, depending on preference. I find a bit thinner is better for something lighter (like fish and chips), a little thicker is better for most chicken recipes.
