I ordered a 1/2" and a 3/8" rope gasket for my Thelin Parlour 3000. Factory specs said the gasket was 1/2" but the 1/2" one was too fat. I ending up using the 3/8" rope gasket. Quality is very good. Don't go gluing on the new rope gasket until you are sure the door will close properly. There is a big variance from manufacturers in terms of a 1/2" rope gasket. MinGlas makes a quality product.

This is far superior product than the cheap stuff they sell in most local hardware stores. I asked the guy at the store if they had any other options for gasket material and he said "that's the stuff everybody uses". My reply was I guess everybody uses trash gasket material then. Used on a Harmon MKII coal stove.
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE CHEAP IMPERSONATORS.

As far as rope gaskets go, THIS is the real deal! It doesn't crush down, but actually resists and exerts pressure on the sealing surfaces of the pellet stove door and the stove's mating surface.

My six YO pellet stove required a new door seal and this one is identical to the factory original and works excellent. The factory original costs twice as much as this one and only has enough length to replace once. This one, though the description says 8 feet, was actually 10 feet long which will do another door seal change in the future. Stay away from the cheap seals sold in HD and Lowes, they are low density and will not seal well for long.
