If you are weighing something that is just hanging there you can get a consistent reading every time. If you are trying to pull on something and get a reading that way, this really doesn't work. Examples: 1. I needed to weigh some large rocks. I put them in a basket and hung it from the hook. Easy, repeatable resulta 2. I tried to get the actual weight resistance of a station gym by pulling on this and could not get a repeatable reading. I also was trying to determine the difference between different resistance bands and could also not make any clear determination.
It is easy to read, easy to tare, the hook is large enough to accommodate different items.
The housing of the unit itself is that super cheap plastic that you expect to find on a toy. Thankfully the actual business ends to connect to things are metal so it shouldn't really matter.

First One Didn’t Work

I bought the scale to weigh backpacks before hikes. The first one arrived on time, but didn't display weights (stayed at 0.0). I contacted Amazon and they sent out another one and issued a return on the first. Second one worked as expected and seems to be accurate based on the total weight that I put in my pack. Would buy again.

It took a little while for me to do this review as I wanted a chance to use the Sani weight a few times in different ways. I was pleasantly surprised it was easy to use and I found it a very good product!
First of all it did take a little bit to put together but I figured it out and it I am not very technically proficient!
We plan to use the scale to weigh animals for hunting season so I was unable to use it for the actual intended reason but I took it to our hunting property and played with it weighing different things and I found it very accurate. I hung it where it will hang in hunting season and I had no problems with getting it to stay put even with putting some heavy rocks in a bucket and putting it thru a real workout!
It is a heavier plastic that I would not leave out for all seasons and we will definitely take out and hang up when we need it but that won't be a problem.
It probably weighs about 2-3 lbs put together but I had it weighing over 300 lbs - ( many rocks in a bucket) and I seriously was impressed on how well it was accurate and easy to use.
I recommend it and I like it!
