Over the years I have purchased several bird cages for my African Gray parrot that I have had for 25 years and this cage is at the top of the list for quality, price, appearance, features and sturdiness. This cage is going to be used on the patio as my bird's day cage and it will be subject to the elements in Florida. Since it is powder coated it should last much longer than some of the other cages. If I were to use this cage indoors it would last indefinitely. I'm sure that it will last several years on the patio but when it wears out I will without question purchase another Yaheetech bird cage. I would also like to mention that this cage is very heavy and it was packed quite well. It also arrived in perfect condition. My bird cage was originally delivered by FedEx to another house in the neighborhood. When I contacted Amazon I was informed that I would have to deal directly with Yaheetech about my missing bird cage. Yaheetech's customer service was great and they were sincerely concerned with my missing bird cage. They stayed in contact with me until my bird cage mysteriously showed up in my driveway by the curb 120 feet from my front door. As mentioned previously this bird cage is made of quality materials and quite heavy. I give the bird cage and Yaheetech a 5+ star rating.

My two budgies Jett and Jinx are still alive an hour after assembly and the bar spacing is good! Easy to assemble. My birds like to sit on top of it. The door locking mechanism is smooth and quiet. The cage is very spacious, at least for my two small birds. The budgies have room to hop and even fly around. One of the bars of the tray which inserts into the bottom of the stand was bent which made it hard to fit into the frame. It seems sturdy enough and although some of the bars on the cage came warped meaning that the birds could stick their heads through that particular bar, it was easy to bend it back into shape. I think it was a pretty good deal!

I have bought three of these. It's perfect for two budgies, and wouldn't do more than 4. If you have more than 4, I'd recommend two of these and putting them together as a double flight or getting a prevue flight cage.

Haven't experienced rust, bar spacing is fine. i recommend these as the best cheap quality flight cage while also being safe and suitable.

It was a little difficult to put together by myself.
I don't care for the plastic feed dishes.
I had to put zip ties on the cage to hold it together with the stand because it just sits on top of it and I have to move my cages to clean them.
I purchased this in the new and used department for $99 and it's worth the price . I saw a cage similar to list and a pet store for over $300.

I read a lot of reviews on this cage before purchasing, I wanted to make sure I was getting the best possible one for my budgies and getting my money's worth.

It was packaged well, arrived fairly quick.

The tracking number provided to me didn't update the whole time I tracked it tho, it was stuck in the same place for a week and then showed up one day, I wasn't prepared and my landlord had to lug it inside for me which I didn't want her to have to do because she is older and just had surgery.

It's a heavy and awkward to carry box (63in cage)

There was a perch that was a bit bent, still functions tho.

Two complaints I have are:

1. The fact that the cage was not designed to attach to the stand is very strange, it's pretty sturdy sitting on top of it but if you plan on moving it around daily (like I did) you will be worried it's just going to come crashing down, and it's not that light. That being said, I got some zip ties and plan to secure it with those for my own peace of mind, so that's an easy hack.

2. There were some areas that did not line up perfectly that had to be screwed together. I ended up bending the provided Allen key trying to make it work. In the end I got all the screws secured properly but not without resistance. It was in 3 spots, it might help to lightly secure the screws then tighten completely once all are on. When you tighten the screws it does move the parts so that might've been a user error on my part, however it wasn't mentioned in the video or instructions.

Overall it's a great cage, super roomy for my two budgies and a huge upgrade from their smaller cage I purchased when I got them. They seem to like it. I would buy it again.
