I bought these as a costume piece, not for regular use in the sun. They did the job, and survived. But I could tell that if I had tried to use them everyday, they probably would not have fared as well.

Mostly use these while driving and when the sun is either rising or setting or some car is reflecting the center of the universe into my eyes. I've had different pairs before that I've bought at the dollar store because I'm not buying Ray-Ban's when I can get the same from Amazon in this pair. The extras it came with are cute but I had no use for them personally, but some may find them helpful in personal care. I've driven in my "˜95 Toyota Celica Convertible with these babies on and gotten so many looks that I had to give it a 5 star because it wouldn't let me give it the 10 it deserved.
