I'm particularly picky when it comes to everything that I buy. I tend to only buy well-reviewed products, or products that look like they will fit my particular need. With phones being so long and expensive now, I have realized I might want a bit of security when it comes to holding them. Enter Ghostek. This loop strap hits every one of my needs. It gives a more secure way to hold the phone while in use. It provides a simple solution for a phone stand to watch media. It gives a metal surface that works with magnetic mounts that I use in my car. The loop even removes to reveal a simple plastic mount, that is still small enough to provide power over wireless charging. The one gripe I have is that the phone doesn't lay flat on it's back anymore, but with as much added functionality that this finger strap provides, that is a worthwhile trade in my opinion. The only part that concerns me is the plastic mount clip after however many years of removing and adding the finger strap from the phone to wireless charge it, but the strap works just fine on my phone stands, so that should take some of the wear off the mount.

Overall I'm extremely happy with how easy the finger strap is to use, and absolutely love the added functionality that it offers in such a small simple package.

Edit: After a week or 2 of use it's showing signs of wear. Mostly where the ring connects to the base looks like it's beginning to crack. And as other reviews have said, the stand needs to be stiffer. As it is now, the phone falls too easily when held up by the ring. There was also a lot of play between the 2 pieces. I solved this by putting a few pieces of tape between them, but it would be nice if they fit together a bit better to begin with.

Lowered star from 5 to 4 because I haven't had it long and I'm not sure how long it will last.

This is a really good solution if your looking for a finger strap that works with the magnetic mount in your car. There isn't a whole lot of options out there that can do both (I hate pop socket and ring styles). I like the built in stand but I also think it's an area of improvement.

1. I think they should update the stand to lock itself in the "closed" position because sometimes it will flop open. There is a very, VERY little bit of force keeping it in the closed position but doesn't take much for it to flop open, which takes me to the 2nd thing they can improve.

2.The stand should have a little more "tension" so that when used as a stand it doesn't move and basically fail as a stand. I had a few moments using it as a stand where the leg would move too easily (something shaking the table) and the phone would fall down. I think adding the tension would solve both the above issues.

3. Switch out the metal plate that's in it, to an actual magnet? The metal plate does fine for using it with a magnetic mount, but magnet to magnet adhesion will always be stronger. I have a little magnetic strip that's also on the back of my phone (magstache). I like sticking my phone to the gym equipment when I'm working out, the different kitchen appliances when I'm cooking, or even the side of my computer monitor. It would be nice if I didn't need that extra magnet on the back of my phone and this would do the same thing for me.

4. Lastly, it's nice that you can remove the strap portion from from the mounting base to use it with a wireless charger. An improvement on this would be to figure out how to make the mounting base "completely" flat without the little ledge (there is another reviewer who posted a picture which you can see what I'm talking about). This would improve wireless charging connection and also just make it nice when you don't feel like using the strap. Also, add magnet capability to the base.

Overall this is probably the best solution if you like the finger straps on the phone and use a magnetic mount in the car. If ever needed, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another replacement. Hopefully they would have implemented those changes next time I buy!

Overall, this product is exactly as advertised. For the cost, it does what you'll need, but it also feels as it costs. The product promises 5 main things: a ring stand, magnetic mounting, selfie friendly, a finger loop and wireless charging capacity. Here's a quick breakdown:

Stand: The stand is made of a thin plastic material. I've seen some reviewers say they use this ring to hold the phone. I don't recommend this as I can assure you it will break fairly quickly. It indeed props the phone up but your fixed as to the angle. It's a subjective con in my opinion as the angle doesn't bother me, but it might bother others. 4/5

Mounting: It claims to have magnetic mounting capacity. I do not have a magnetic mount to test this. I can confirm it is magnetic, but I cannot confirm if the magnet is strong enough for a mount and thus if the phone would fall. I would imagine this has more to do with the mount itself as the loop is magnetic and that's all it promises. 5/5

Selfie friendly: This is also subjective. Place the ring in a comfortable position and it will indeed aid in taking selfies. But so would a ring or pop socket, so this isn't really unique. 4/5

Loop: Made of a nylon type material. It's comfortable, soft and seems secure enough. I can see this eventually tearing away with heavy use, but it's again as advertised and I've felt far more uncomfortable loops. 5/5

Charge: This was the most important thing to me. I wanted something that would provide wireless charging. This indeed does... as long as you detach the magnetic loop from the back. It's not really shown, but the loop can be tricky to remove. The small button needs to be pressed while the loop is pulled straight down. It is not one hand friendly and can be tough to remove. In addition, the base that you stick to the phone is just fine, but the removable part is somewhat loose, so the whole thing rattles, which can be another subjective con. It's not going to just fall off, but the rattle can be annoying after a bit. Overall, this is the part I think needs to be worked on. Less rattling and making the removal one hand friendly would go a long way. 3/5

Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I like the loop and it provides wireless charging as advertised. Cost is low enough that the cons are really game breaking.

I use it all the time to keep a secure hold on my phone. I liked the kickstand feature until it broke off after a few days.

This was awesome to have. The strap is kind of hard to slip into or harder than I prefer. The ring won't stay on and my family and I keep finding it lying around and have to reattach it, we've tried to squeeze it hoping it would stay in after but it didn't work and falls out constantly. I despise the fact that this ceased my phones wireless charging perk. I have chargers and mounts for my phones wireless charging capability and can't use them for that now because of this
I thought if I just took it out I could still charge it wirelessly but I can't even with the base only attached without the ring and strap.
I like having the ring and strap but I am disappointed in this overall. I think I would rather have the finger strap I bought from Walmart I had on my last phone case.
