I left the cat's food and water feeders when we left on a road trip. They are very light weight, and I initially put water and food in the trough, because I didn't want them to spill on the road. The water has a pipette effect, and drew water up, which kept it from spilling. For a cat, this system holds a lot of food and water! They are easy to clean, except for the water reservoir, it has a small opening, so it is difficult to mechanically wash. I empty it out every few days, and keep it out of the sun, because it would be impossible to scrub if it got scummy.

This is great, holds alot of water and food. Easy to put the food in the top, the water you have to put in the smaller hole, would be even better if the top came off of water dispenser and you could fill it from the top.
