I bought this to take with me to Disney World. I take a lot of pictures and of course there is a DW app that's helpful in getting around the parks, so I knew I'd be using a lot of phone battery. I charged this overnight with the cord it came with, and I plugged my phone into it when it was about 40%. After about an hour it charged to 80%. It's not really fast, but it works well to charge your phone on the go. I was able to charge up to 95% before unplugging my phone and plugging in my husband's phone for another hour. After a couple hours of phone charging, the unit itself had only lost 25% of It's charge.

It is recommended by the manufacturer to only use the solar power charging in emergencies or when you have no access to a power source to charge it. I recommend charging overnight before your park day to ensure it gets a good charge. Then you can clip it to your backpack to charge in the sun if you use up the battery before your day ends.

This comes with a C cord that works for android phones, I don't know what kind of charger an iphone uses, but if it's different than the C cord, you can plug it in using the usb type cord to connect them. Or you can set your phone on top of it for wireless charging if you are stationary.

4 lights is fully charged. It will turn off automatically after 20 seconds if nothing is connected to it. It will turn on automatically when you plug your phone into it. For those of you wondering how to turn on the flashlight, you have to hold the power button on the device to turn the light on and off.

Ordered this solar power pack to recharge my iPhone 12 during a trip out west to New Mexico. With 2-3 days of direct sunlight the device never exceeded 1 of 4 lights on the battery indicator. Was only able to recharge my iPhone to single digit power increases.

This is very disappointing. I would not recommend this power pack if solar is the only means to charge it. It is not useful for backcountry hiking.

Pros:
-Not too bulky.
-Sturdy feeling
-So far charges my phone quickly
-I didn't have any issues with the flahlight.
-The wireless charger is a VERY nice bonus. -The included charging cord also happens to fit my Samsung Galaxy S10 perfectly so double bonus - I won't have to worry about bulky phone cords.

Cons:
-That compass is laughable. It does not point north at all and looks like a free cracker jack compass.

I was considering a slightly cheaper item that had a built in functional compass, but the wireless charger of this one, plus the fact that I can use the battery cord to charge my phone won me over.

Unknown: I haven't tried the solar charge, but based on reviews for this and practically every other similar item, my expectations are muted.

Overall, I'm feeling optimistic about the purchase.

Bought this battery pack to use at a 3 day concert festival. While it only did 2 full days out of the 3 the solar aspect of the battery pack did due a lot of the heavy lifting during the day in maintaining a steady percentage.

It seems to work fine so far, can't speak a lot about longevity as I haven't used it much in the few weeks that I've had it. It definitely doesn't recharge quickly with solar. I knew it probably wouldn't, but I have yet to see any charge happen while leaving it in an open sunny window indefinitely. The little green light comes on indicating it's getting solar, but I never see additional blue lights come up, indicating a charge. That wasn't my number one priority for buying it, as I have a portable power station to charge it off-grid, but it really would have been a nice added bonus if it collected some charge after sitting in a window all day. It does charge my phone quickly, but there is a strange bulge at the charging ports that I'm not sure about. Also it has a USB-C port, a USB-A port, and then there's another port that looks like a USB-C and it's labeled "in," but my USB-C cord doesn't fit in that one, so I don't know what that is. Overall happy, I just hope it lasts a long time ;)
