You will be sore, it takes some getting use to. Purchased the 4 lb hoop and it's crazy how sore I am after using it for 30 minutes (good sore). Careful when it drops because 4 lbs is heavy when your ankle, toes or fingers aren't expecting it. It's worth it.

Been through a few of the wrecking ball hula belts and decided to try this. Those all seemed like the could be heavier so I went with the 4 pound on this. Wish I would have gone lighter haha.
