My only negative is it doesn't have a pilot and gunner. I like to show my models in a flying position.

Great model. In response to the one star review asking why it has an iron cross on it: This is a model of an actual aircraft. HMLA 169 is a US Marine unit that has the iron cross as part of the unit insignia. The iron cross is NOT a swastika. It originated from 13th century knights and is seen as a symbol of valor (bravery). A quick web search of marines.mil or even Wikipedia yields a wealth of information. This Marine unit has received presidential awards and MANY other medals for both combat and humanitarian missions. It appears they have earned the right to display "valor" because they have. The model maker has no control over the original aircraft design, nor should they be expected to not model certain subjects because of the ignorance of the general public. I hope this helps you in your quest for knowledge. I'd suggest that before you denigrate something as "poor" (one star) that you take the time to do some research, maybe visit a library because not everyone is as kind to do the work for you. Just sayin.

The detailing and piece fitment is excellent quality and perfect for a diorama or building an entire squadron.

The writing in the instructions are Korean not Japanese, but this company has great models but the instructions sometimes are challenging since they aren't as descriptive as one would like.

I'm glad so far, nice scale model from Academy, my first model from this mark. Lot of pieces and details. We'll see how it works. Arrived before the estimated date!! so, five stars.
