With the temporary closure of fully fenced dog parks in early March 2020 due to the pandemic, I have been forced to find an alternative play space for my 14 month old golden retriever puppy. While it has some fencing, it has three exits and on the second trip there she decided to take herself exploring and she wouldn't come back. Only the intervention of a neighbor prevented her from disappearing into the large city we live in. I looked for a GPS tracker that night. I found this on Amazon. It is very reasonably priced, as is the monthly charge. The device charges by micro USB and lasts about 30 days! I've had occasion to contact the manufacturer for support several times and they have been consistently and quickly responsive, and welcoming to my suggestions. There have been the not uncommon hiccups with languages, as they are not native English speakers and I do not speak Mandarin. But they are very eager to work with their customers in other countries and have been very helpful. It was easy to set up and my dog has no idea she's wearing it. You will get information about not only the location of your dog, but his or her activity level, calorie requirements and duration of activity. You will also get a graph showing activity over a month. You can set up multiple "e-fences" whereby you will be notified if your dog leaves the safe area. Please do consider this item. The low cost alone makes it an obvious choice, and it seems to be as fully featured as any competitors' product at a much lower price. While I've only used it for a month it appears to be sturdy and durable. And it is good looking to boot!

Follow up review: This unit still had a solid charge after 30 days. Has worked flawlessly...

To all the poor reviewers, hogwash...

As someone who formally worked in the GPS telematics and SaaS industry for the top technology of its kind (Fleetmatics bought by Verizon for $2.2B), this is a fine device. Very compact for the quality of positioning... Is it perfect to a foot?!? No. But definitely accurate within 10-100'... refreshes well even when not in "lost" mode at which the refresh rate increases based on the dogs activity ie: bolting vs lumbering, etc.

Setup was extremely easy, the app is very simple to use and navigate, battery life after 3 days, even with performing real time "emergency lost mode" is still at 97%.

I have thoroughly tested this device after losing my service animal ever (9 years), due to some jackasses and fireworks in a heavily populated area pre-4th... Never again will my companion be alone and afraid for over 28hrs... Kudos Petbiz!

We have a dog with mild canine dementia who is prone to wandering and also is partially deaf and blind (if he gets very far away from us, he can't hear when we call.) We ordered this product as a safety net for him. It is Chinese made and the instructions and the language in the app itself is stilted and tough to follow. However, the customer service is excellent. Access customer service through the app and through text. Response is prompt, polite and helpful. I needed help updating the location and then adding a second person, and got immediate help. The accuracy of the location is very good considering the price point. There may be better products out there, but they are at least twice the cost. For what we needed, it's a great product at a great price.

Overall, happy with product. Twin 4yr old standard poodles. Very active. Went in pool and river, still working. Charge lasts longer than most on market-which is great. Fast to recharge when needed. Cell coverage could be better. Wish I could get this product with Verizon coverage and not T-mobile. Wish I could set the E-fence for less than 100 meters. My yard is probably half or 1/3 that. The E-fence would tell me my dog has gotten out when she's down the block. When I walk them, I'm all the way around the block and 5 minutes later I get a text...Bluetooth feature is crappy. I am laying next to my dogs and it gives me 1-2 bars out of 5-6 strength. I let the free 30 days run up, now I can not find the renewal online at their website or on my app for the life of me...lol
Again, overall happy, just little things to improve. Needs quicker notifiers, smaller e-fence range, better bluetooth, options of which cellular carrier, easier account access for subscription. If these options were integrated I thing for the price of the device, options/features, etc, your product would be a dominator of the market.

2.5 years in. Great tracker for the money. Battery life is unmatched and the subscription is super cheap. The charging port however, quickly corroded and is very hard to get to charge. Now I have to carefully wiggle a usb charger until the charging light comes on. But hey, 2.5 years and still working. I'll take that!
The app is not great. Very cheap feeling and not of English origin. But, shows location data and activity data, which is all I really care about. Overall, would recommend this highly despite the negatives. The battery life is really the big selling factor and is awesome at 30+ days, even after years of constant use
