My sister and I used this when traveling by car - and I recently purchased one for a trip with my husband. I hang each day's outfit on the rod and it remains wrinkle free and ready to grab when I head into the hotel each night means I don't have to lug an entire suitcase, just my toiletries bag. This rod easily fits over the back door "header" grips, or the clothes hook. It is sturdy, clothes hangers stay put on it and it folds for storage. Definitely get one if traveling by auto!
