I've purchased two. My experience with the first was so good I bought another when I wore it out.
The first purchase was in May 2019. It is now June 2022 and it finally wore out and needed to be replaced.
I'd say three years of HEAVY DAILY USE and it held on for three years ? Sign me up.
When I first purchased it, I was like no WAY is this flimsy thing going to hold up to the brutal wear and tear by a remote graphic designer. I expected my computer to tilt a bit when I typed, or it to be a bit off balance or straight up break. I was sooo wrong, this is my absolute favorite product I have ever purchased for my home office or computer. It stays put and when I furiously type the computer doesn't wobble at all.
You can see that my old one (grey) started to separate from the seam. Other than that, looks absolutely brand new. The sticky did not wear out (although it hasn't been moved since I put it on the first time) and it removed clean with zero residue.
The new one (blue) looks slick. Feels really sturdy and works just like the old one. The new one has air holes, which I appreciate. Since I use some heavy programs my MacBook Pro tends to get hot, so maybe this will help.
I will say, I am not sure how well this will work with other brands of laptops. It is going to depend on how the notebook is balanced. Apple tends to take a lot of care in making sure their laptops are very well balanced. My friend bought this on my recommendation (he had an inexpensive windows notebook, same size as my MacBook Pro) and when he used the keyboard it wobbled a bit, only because the heavier components were in one of the back corners, making it unstable.
Super happy with my purchase, Moft FTW !!!

Been using this for years, and this one is for my new Mac. It's designed so well, with great quality. Also a great conversation starter since so many people commented and were impressed with this design. Definitely strongly recommend.
Perfect for 2-in-1 laptops

Got this stand in to make writing on my 13" lenovo 2-in-1 laptop more comfortable and this product is absolutely perfect. As a student, it is preferable using windows ink on OneNote to write out notes and make notations on diagrams and this stand provides support to hold the digitizer at a comfortable angle without wobbling or making it feel like I'm about to crack the screen from resting my palm on the surface while writing and thats due to the fact that it supports the entire monitor, not a single point. One thing of note, however, is that i had to place the monitor on the lcd cover because it covers the heat vents on my 13" laptop if not propping up the base when attached to the bottom but I'm sure you can attach the stand to the base when and prop up your laptop lcd without worrying about this on larger laptops..
The following is a simple "the good" and "the bad" summary of my experience with this stand:
The Good:
1. perfect for those that need to draw or write using a 2-in-1
2. Super slim - laptop closes all the way when I want to go into full tablet mode
3. Doesn't flap around when the stand is not in use.
4. Doesnt cover the heat vents on the underside of the laptop when attached to the LCD cover.
5. Sturdy - the stand doesnt slide around, once propped up it stays securely propped up.
6. Removable - The adhesive on stand is similar to the gel pads used to keep phones in place on those mats they use in cars. Is it sticky and doesnt slide around but easily peels off without leaving residues if you want to remove the stand to place it somewhere else if the need arises.
The bad:
1. potentially covers the heat vents when not using the stand if attached to the base (I have a lenovo yoga 730)... not sure if this would be case on 15"+ laptops though.
Summary:
Highly recommend for anyone that utilizes pens on windows 2-in-1s. Was about to buy a Surface Pro because it has a kickstand until I found this and its working out perfectly! Only thing I would advise is to either always use the stand if attaching to the base of the laptop (at least on 13" laptops).
Last thing to note is that the first picture on the item description is glittery but the actual grey product comes in a nice, inconspicuous flat cloth-like material.

Perfect for someone who moves their laptop around a lot.

You can see in the photo that I use my laptop in different places even within the same room. On the far wall is a 65" TV I use as an extended desktop. I sit in a comfy chair there, with my laptop on a small stand so its camera sees me in video conferences. There, the MOFT lies folded flat on the stand.
Next to the TV is my double bass, which I play standing up. That's why the laptop is on the kitchen counter, MOFT lifted low, so I can read, listen, and cast music to my stereo, etc., while standing up, going back and forth between the laptop and the bass.
Left of the bass is my keyboard, which I play sitting on a low bar stool. I set the MOFT on its higher lift, on the keyboard much like I would set a music stand to read music -- except sheet music and lyric sheets tend to come on computer screens more than on paper these days. :-D
I take my laptop to the studio in a backpack and boy am I glad there's no separate laptop stand to carry. MOFT just flops into flatness and into the pack it goes. I used to carry a good laptop stand that got left behind, or it scratched my laptop in transit, and everything else that Murphy's Law brings to bear to frustrate people who just want to get on with their work.
One day I wished the MOFT was just a little further back because my laptop is 17 inches and MOFT recommends up to 16.5 inch screens. I figured I'd have to remove the MOFT and find a suitable adhesive to reattach it where I wanted it. To my surprise, the MOFT lifted off easily and reattached again in the new spot flawlessly. I know that MOFT said that's possible but I'm often disappointed when it comes to manufacturers' claims about adhesives. MOFT got this one right.
And -- it looks cool in the studio. I got the jean finish.
