After reading reviews about a similar igniter that requires grinding, drilling, fitting, etc, I decided i'd spend the extra buck or two to buy this unit instead. As a mechanic for over 60 years, I've had my share of products that were advertised as "the same as" etc but end up requiring hacking your equipment to get it to fit, or rewiring some phase of the job, etc. It's a pain in the butt. And it requires more time than the difference in price will compensate for. And while I'm on this soapbox I'll say that MANY foreign parts don't fit correctly, in fact don't work at all! So in my opinion, it's always best to support the vendors who have good reviews and whose products work as they should without any hacking. But it's your time and your money. If you spend an hour butchering your favorite stainless grille and you save a dollar, then you're working for 1956 minimum wage. A kid flipping burgers makes 1500 % more than you....fool. :-)
