We bought this for our son for an early Christmas present in 2020. We've had the bed for 3 months and have had no problems.

bed frame for bottom bunk came broken was able to fix but Amazon delvary was real ruff with bed. I feel that amazon lady that answers phone in fremont was really rude when I call and had something to do with it.

The bed looks great and is made of solid wood, with all the nuances and variations of such. The delivery, however, is a pain. It is delivered via truck company, and the company only comes to my region on certain days. It took about week and I'm spoiled with Prime. Moreover, it is delivered in a pallet and the pallet was left behind with my delivery. I had to cut the packaging and haul all the boxes in my apartment - all 300 lbs (almost 300 lbs) worth of boxes. And I have a pallet that I need to discard now as well. Suffice it to say the delivery could be better. What knocks a star from the review, however, is the labeling of the parts and the instructions. I'm an Ikea veteran, so I know a thing or three about assembly frustration. I'm still not sure if I used parts on the bunk that I should have used on the full. It seems to have worked and it seems sturdy. The instructions did not help, and there is no number to call. There was much fumbling of parts and guessing, and I believe I was missing some pre-drilled holes that I had to improvise on. Again, it seems to have worked, but I was left with an uneasy feeling. I also have lots of leftover screws and a leftover bar. I believe they are leftovers. I hope they are leftovers. I wonder IF they are leftovers or if I screwed up somewhere. So...if you can deal with these issues - and they may be minor for some and deal breakers for others - this is a gorgeous bed. It is made of solid wood, so I can take drilling. My son loves the bed and the chest has ample (bonus) storage. This is definitely nicer and of better quality than anything Ikea has to offer, and I'm sure it will be longer lasting. You won't be disappointed once you have it assembled.

This bed is awesome! It took a few hours to put together, but it was easy. We had a problem with a set of the screws and Dreamscape Furniture Sent out a new set immediately along with a nice touch up kit for free.

As with the other reviews, shipping was a nightmare and one of the boxes on the pallet was crushed on the end, two pieces broken. We fixed it, not worth trying to return or exchange.
Having said that, we reinforced the broken pieces and our little boy loves it. Comfy, cozy, and really cute.
