great value purchase. carbon fiber with hard plastic mount to bar. alot of adjustment options. each component replaceable. no creaking nor rotation on bars when riding over small bumps, sidewalk expansion joints or pot holes. did NOT put any tape on bars b4 mounting--mounted hard plastic mount direct to metal of bar. substantial pads-comfortable; cannot attest to durability yet.
