Buy the Shark Release With Conficence

You may purchase the Shark release with confidence. I tested several top rated releases last week. The Scott Shark is most impressive. The buckle strap has the perfect combination of size and robust strength. It's easy to tuck away in your pocket or target quiver. The trigger is outstanding! The trigger is adjustable to provide the most sensitive touch and has zero travel. I shoot at 70# with a very light trigger, it is solid as a rock and secure. You can trust this release not to fail and my groups tightened up immediately,
The Scott Shark is everything I could dream of in a release. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Scott Archery customer service in the past. The custom service from Scott Archery is outstanding and world class in every way. Scott Archery has earned my business for life...

Well made release, but it's not what's pictured

This release is very well made. I've owned several Scott releases over the years. The only issue I have at all with it is that it isn't the release in the picture. The picture clearly shows a fabric strap going from the wrist strap to the release. The release I received has the standard adjustable metal shaft going from the wrist strap to the release. While I wanted the fabric strap, I'm satisfied with what I got... it's still nicer than my older Scott single caliper Release.
Excellent product! My second one and is my back up

Only issue I have is that this is the second time I purchased this product and it should of had the camo pattern in it as it states in the description"¦Well I'm 0 for 2! WTH

I am new to archery. I recently purchased a new compound bow and I did a lot of research about products to go with it. When it came do looking at releases I had heard good things about Scott releases. They cost a little more than most but so far I'm super impressed. I love that you can adjust the length. I haven't had a misfire or any problems at all with it. I would highly recommend this release to anyone. The trigger seems to be super sensitive and I thought about adjusting it before I used it. I would wait because after putting tension on it I love it and wouldn't adjust it.
Sensitive but worth it!

So let me start by saying that this is my fourth release I've bought and tested all different manufactures in several different styles. I have to say this has to be by far the most touchy release yet. I compare this to the TruFire Patriot where it too shares the same style of trigger where its not spring load back into the forward position. I've found I'm more accurate with this type of trigger and that why I've chosen to peruse this Scott Release. I like how its easily adjustable for length with removing a screw with an allen wrench, very simple! The constructions looks and feels solid, but the buckle wrist strap is less to be desired. I found my 20 dollar TruFire Hurricane buckle wrist strap was built and felt better then this one. I may just remove the actual release and install it on the TF Hurricane wrist strap... Now back to the trigger, the site and the manufacture claims its adjustable to reduce the sensitivity of the trigger. However i don't see it and this was after i reduced the sensitivity all the down! Even with it all the way down the slightest and i mean SLIGHTEST amount of touch on the trigger it will engage. To me it's concerning and a product flaw based on its claims to be adjustable! Now is it possible that i could have gotten a bad release, but based on the other reviews it seems to be common issue. So why did i buy it? I guess i wanted to see for myself and plus i figured i could adjust the trigger, but i was wrong. I'm gonna give it a couple more tries and see if i can adjust to it, but i fear this maybe heading back to amazon. ** follow up to my orriginal review. This release sensitive but after adjusting the trigger and takkng a few shots.. really a fantastic release! I feel i was to harsh at first and now its a perninate fixture of my gear. The buckle/strap not that great, but thats it. Worth the investment and try. Dont be mislead buy the releases sensitivity. Once adjusted and you knock an arrow you'd be suprise how it levels off.
