2. definitely made for narrow feet. Could be stretched to fit my average width feet, but wouldn't recommend it for wide feet. (I stuffed shoe forms in thick socks into the boots, then heated up a rice sack in the microwave, which I put over the boots. It did that at least half a dozen times, and now the boots fit nicely.)
3. Haven't worn them without socks, so I don't know, but I suspect the edge of the boots would abrade your leg if you didn't wear socks.

Love the look of these boots. Ordered them in my regular size and they fit perfectly. Without socks they are roomy, but with the free socks they are perfect, so warm and snuggly. I have a narrow foot so anyone with a wider foot may need to size up, especially as the toe box is pointy. However this gives the boots a more elegant style than the round toe of regular "wellies".
I was concerned that having a thicker (lug) sole they might be heavy and clunky, but they are lightweight and because of the pointed toe make my feet look smaller. So pleased with the boots I don't want to get them dirty and could wear then as regular boots if they keep their shine. Look like patent leather.

Every year I buy a pair of shiny ankle rain boots from Amazon out of necessity as I live in the PNW. One of my only complaints has been how thin the soles are as i can feel anything i walk on like gravel. This year i stumbled upon these cuties and was giddy when i saw the beefier sole. I just strolled out to the gravel parking lot and what a difference. I highly recommend.
