Soft. Supple. Easily fits my mothers top tear with duplicate checkbook. Not so great with my side tear. Back paper of checkbook didn't fit smoothly in the slot so I had to cut it down I also feel like it sticks out a bit more than I like but it IA within the Linea od the cover. I will keep borh.
