This almost feels like soft suede inside and out. Very nice feel. It is sturdy and I enjoy using it very much. It has a pocket for a ledger, and a pocket for the checkbook. It also has a little slot for a pen in the center inside. There is a clear plastic piece attached to keep duplicate checks from getting imprinted with the previous check's info. Perfect check holder.

I just switched over from an old leather checkbook Cover to a Casmonal Checkbook Cover. So far it is a very nice leather cover. It replaces an old leather checkbook Cover that has seen a better day. This new cover is soft and has a soft leather Cover unlike the dried out leather cover I used to use. Over the winter I will see how long lasting and durable the Casmonal Checkbook Cover will be by the time the Spring Weather rolls around.
