Withstood hurricane force winds in Iowa!

Iowa recently had hurricane force winds (a derecho, 85-100mph!). The swingset is anchored down using these feet/anchors and didn't budge despite the winds. The slide tower was not anchored at the time of the storm and was easily blown over and pushed about 10'. The anchors saved the swingset, and just purchased another set for the side. Many of our neighbors were not as lucky as their swingsets were destroyed. Thankful to save our swingset and looking forward to having the slide tower secure in the ground for the next time 2020 throws a curveball and gives us a hurricane in Iowa!

It's is nice add on to new swing-set. But beware that some swing-set braces angle the 4x4 posts in such a way, you can not just lay this down flat and will have to angle it to match the pattern. I also recommend burying it to keep it in place. Also, since anchor holes are all on the same side, you might have to drill few holes to keep your anchor on correct side of the post. That aside, I feel that because it's rubberized it might add little rocking to the swing-set and also not sure how it would hold up to NE winters. Time will show. Price was fair

I'm very satisfied with these. I used them for anchoring the backyard home-made swing-set and home-made playset. It worked well as the base for the corners of the playset (4x4 posts with 2x6 boards attached on the outside edges to make a 90-degree angle). The anchors did a good job and were easy to pound into the ground and attach with screws. It's a good product, but I wish it didn't cost so much. Still, no regrets. I researched a lot of other products, but this seemed to be the best.
