I travel a lot to visit family, so I bought this dock to keep at their house for whenever I come to visit so that I don't have to pack my main switch dock with me. It works well enough and gets the job done, but it is a little bit awkward. It almost seems too small or too flimsy. When you dock your switch, the USB-C pushes down, so sometimes it doesn't feel like it fits on right. I get the point is for it to be smaller and less bulky, but I always feel like it isn't holding my switch properly or that it isn't plugged in correctly most of time, even when it is. Not bad for the price, and it does work as intended, plus not having to deal with the annoying plastic door the Nintendo-licensed dock has is nice.

I got this after my original console stopped working after 3-4 years. It connects super easy to my TV and doesn't randomly disconnect or anything. My only issue is that it doesn't charge the switch while it's connected to the console, you have to take it off and charge it separately. This kinda sucks but overall it's an amazing alternative for the $100+ replacement I would've gotten from Nintendo. 10/10 would recommend! Can't beat the price!

My official dock has gone flaky on us and now it starts to drop the video ever so often. I looked up a replacement and saw that the dock is $100+ dollars. May as well buy a new Switch at that price. I saw this one listed and took a chance.
It's small and I like that it makes the console open face. You push a button on it and it puts it in Docked mode. Picture and Sound work just fine.
Only thing I wish is that it charged the console in Non-Dock mode.
