Works Great, but BEWARE of Shank Size!

Even though I ordered the 1/4" shank version, the first bit set I received had a 1/2" shank, and the box was clearly labeled 1/2", which did not fit my 1/4" chuck router, so I returned them to be replaced. The second set, as you may have suspected, also had a 1/2" shank, as labeled. This is Amazon's fault, as the product was correctly labeled by the distributor. In the meantime, while using other bits, the frame of my 40+ years old router cracked, so it was done for. I bought a new one with both 1/4" and 1/2" chucks. I decided to keep the replacement 1/2" shank router bit, the one Amazon sent as replacement, and have been using it with my new Bosch router. The Bosch router, the Bosch router table (also new), and these KOWOOD 1/2" Shank Tongue and Groove bits work GREAT! I have cut eight shaker style doors so far, and the fits are perfect. I added one washer (included) to make the groove a bit wider and space the outer cutters apart, and they perfectly match stock 1x3, 3/4" thick actual.

I bought 13 pressure treated 1"x6"x8ft boards and turned into a tongue and groove exterior ceiling for an area on a porch to mount a TV at my most recent job. The single female slot obviously cut easier than the double, still both cut very well. Going to want to use a strong full size router. My bosch colt router wasn't enough to cut it. However my large full size metabo and these bits ripped through no problem and helped me built a great job. Really impressed for the price. Extremely impressed I should say. The fit nice and tight. Perfect and exactly what I wanted. Over 100 ft on each and still super sharp.
