Didn't know the laws in my area don't allow any light on a vehicle to be in motion unless it's a service vehicle. I.E. spinning in circles around a tire underneath your car.

You can however buy a LED ring that installs around the hubcap.

But for what it is, off-road, It works great. (I'm assuming?! I tried it out and I could see the glow from my front left tire. I don't necessarily have a spectator or trust leaving my camera anywhere at night while I drive past to actually observe its purpose.)

Also there are absolutely no instructions. I have no idea how many patterns there are but you figure it out after awhile.

Needs a bit more instruction for the install unless they think most people are smart enough to figure what to do with the nut and wrench

THESE bad boys I was iffy about when I first ordered them, and when I got them and even as I put them on my car. They are solar powered and I haven't had any trouble or problems with them working. They have about 10 (maybe a couple more) patterns of lights that you can change them to when they are in use. My ONLY little qualm is that they could be a little brighter put, if you're driving you don't want to be that much of a distraction to other drivers. They fit right over the tire valves and I haven't had any issues with them coming off or not holding air.

Very nice item to get if you like being a little bit flashy.

Also, if you get these, it says in the product description that THEY DO NOT WORK IN STRONG LIGHT, so they are strictly for dusk or night driving. If you put a flashlight to them, they won't turn on because the light is too strong. So, try to see them at night. Don't just say "They don't work" if you put them on in then drive during the daylight hours.

I love that they cut off when you are not moving.

The lights definitely worked well, for me. Even the cops, who pulled me over on the first day after installing them, were impressed. I was informed that any visible lights on the side of the vehicle are illegal due to state traffic laws (Ca) in most states. Told me reason was that it is considered distracting to other drivers as well as possible source of confusion with identifying emergency vehicles. Whatever!
I told him that's ridiculous"”I know ma writes!
Then he gave me a ticket.
Now, no more fancy lights on my vehicle. End of story.
