Like the ones you get from Home Depot or Lowes that have plastic stems on the nozzle valve. I went through three of them in a month because my kids would drop the hose on the patio causing the valve lever to break off. I used to build these myself buying the components at the mentioned stores but I don't see them anymore so buying for $5 more off Amazon is better than driving around looking for one. This is the best thing to use if you don't want to break out the pressure washer. It delivers a powerful single stream jet that you cannot get from an adjustable nozzle.
Updated Review 12/16/22: I just bought a second one so I like it but I took a star off because the screw holding the valve lever backs out meaning you have to tighten it regularly. If it comes out too far the valve leaks. I have just put Loctite on the screw threads to see if this fixes the problem.

The drain for my patio stopped completely, solid section of dirt. A drain snake made a little hole but that was it. Just using a hose did not do it. Put this on and ran it down the drain, hit the clogged area, and after moving it around I got lots of dirt out the other end. Plenty of pressure.

For myself, this was one of my purchases that I didn't need to make and I didn't know if it would actually be better than the spray nozzle equipment that I already have. I actually bought it solely for its design and the fact that it is a different take on the nozzle. Works well and I would probably buy another one for one of the many hoses that I have scattered amongst different properties.
