This worked perfectly for our toddler, kept him afloat and his arms free but would recommend you still watch them. Unfortunately after several uses and plenty of jumping in, the inserts kept popping out so I guess you can adjust as you go but a bit annoying when you child needs full support still.

The suit fits well around the body but is a bit baggy up top. Overall it works great but my girl is constantly pulling it up on top to cover her chest. Again, if I have to say how great it floats and does what it is suppose to do! Cleaning wise, I wish the floatation pieces were full rather than in two pieces because when you have to take them out so it can be washed, it is a bit of a pain to keep track of all the pieces especially when your kids are around trying to see what you are doing! If they "sneak" away with any, you are in for a run trying to retrieve them to put them back I to the suit!

Little Miss Independence just turned 3 and insists she can swim on her own, and will attempt to do that. She was NOT happy when I made her put this on , however, half an hour later WOW what a difference and she is now The Little Mermaid! She has had swim lessons and this just assists her buoyancy and elevates her confidence.

Awesome product to learn to swim! It takes some getting used to and the kid must know a bit about how to swim to wear it. It allows for them to swim under water but helps them pop back up and helps them swim above!
