Got this cap for my 6 (size small) and 9 (size large) year olds. If it's put on properly, most of there hair stays dry. Only issues are their edges still get wet and the front part slides down too far near eyes; they are constantly adjusting it while swimming. Overall, it's a good product and works well.

Thick and flexible while remaining very durable. Never worried that it was going to rip or pop while stretching over braids or other lose curly hair.
We did not use the ear plugs included in the packaging but it's nice to have as an option.
