There's a lot to like about this little device. For one, the d-pad and buttons are actually pretty great. I was pulling off precision jumps in Mario, and nailed the Konami code the first time in Contra. The screen quality is not the greatest, it's a little fuzzy and stretched due to the original 4:3 aspect ratio of the games, but not too bad really.
Overall it has a couple dozen classics that are worth playing, and a bunch of no-name filler roms.
I gifted it to a teenage nephew who was interested in trying some retro games, and for the price it didn't leave me feeling anxious I wasted money if he never goes back to play them.
