This is a beginners rock crawler...if you don't know what that is google it. It's too slow to do (crash and bash) jumps, yet not slow enough to really rock crawl intricate lines. ALSO it only has one speed. BUT the angles this can climb is crazy! It will climb a 90 degree angle, and go over a curb like it's flat. The torque tho..well it sucks pretty bad and the tires are not very soft. so traction is a issue also. Plus the steering will not return back to a straight line on its own. Also the angle it turns at is pretty bad also, its mayybe a 22 degree angle.

WITH ALL THAT SAID....I own MULTIPLE $300+ RC cars. so I'm comparing apples to oranges. This is a awesome beginner's rock crawler. A young kid could probably understand it and learn to crawl or ride trails in no time. (My 8 year old kid did). It also seems pretty durable, because it's taken some falls and nothing broke yet, even tho its 99% plastic. At the $25 I paid, it is worth every penny.

Bought 3 of these for my son's. 2 have tested good. But 1 is trash. When I opened it's box. The instructions were all crinkled up and the Twisties holding it in package had been redone. The prongs on the battery connector were bent. Tried to straighten them and got the battery to go in. But no power. I tried all the batteries from the other 2 cars and still no power. The other 2 cars work with every battery. So I got 1 defective car that seems to had been used before. I bought 3 to give to my son's on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12th. Now I'm short 1. One of the other cars might have been opened before too. But there doesn't seem to be any problems with it.
Something told me to test them before giving as gifts. That's the way

most products are these days. Quality control has gone down for years. As with a lot of customer service.
UPDATE UPDATE - I contacted the company and they responded quickly. They just asked for purchase information and sent me a new RC truck. This new one runs great and I know my son's will enjoy. The defective one wasn't the sellers fault. But they fully took care of me as a customer. And we have 3 of these trucks running excellent. Anyone who buys these will get a bargain for their money. Grass - gravel - dirt - even up a 4 foot plastic sliding board. They GO ! Not just with the product. But the customer support and service goes the the distance if needed too. Buy more than one and have fun with friends and family.

Our nephew left his truck under our tire. No clue why. He's 4. We ran it over and he cried so this thing must wonderful.

I love the vehicles but the remote is broken. Is there anyway I can purchase two remotes I have two vehicles

I bought this for my grandson who wanted one just like his cousin. Cousin Joel has had his for two years and enjoyed it. I have not watched them play and can't respond to features
