Works very well on pea gravel

I used it on pea gravel. I put on 2 coats as recommended. It definitely locked the gravel in place well. I tried it on some wood mulch just to see how well it would work there (using 2 coats). I was not impressed with the product on wood mulch. It seemed to just soak in rather than lock it in place. So, I would definitely recommend it on pea gravel, but not wood mulch.

Reviews were mixed so I was hesitant, but this was exactly what I wanted. I applied 2 coats (1 gallon each). It goes on opaque but dries clear. Not sure if those who said it doesn't work didn't follow the directions, but applied hair heavy on hot dry days and made sure it wasn't going to rain for the next 24 hours. After the first coat, I left for work and didn't realize the lawn service was coming. It was covered in grass when I got home but a leaf blower got it off so it must have dried enough. I haven't back washed the pump yet, the hope is this will prevent the pea gravel from washing out when we do. I have sprayed it with a hose though and nothing moved. I'm more than satisfied so far. Will update if anything changes.

Make sure you buy a sprayer (or have one on hand). Used one gallon on a 7'x3' pea gravel area, applied two coats. Some gravel still moves but overall SO happy with how much easier it is to clean the area and not have pea gravel blowing into the grassy areas.

As represented, it goes on white and dries transparent. However, it is very shiny-almost reflective. I was hoping and expecting it to have a dull/natural-looking finish. Also, it takes a large coating to really do the job-gets expensive.
