Too long but sexy

I ordered black x large. I'm 5'5" and usual size is large/x large. Reviews say its runs big so I ordered a large. When I opened the package the pants smelled really bad and fit loose and too long for my height. I washed them and dried them, they shrunk a little but still too long and the odor is gone. I wore them inside as lounge wear and my bf loved them. When I walk I have to keep lifting them. So I'll probably just keep washing/drying so they shrink more. I should've ordered a or large.

I have no true complaints, however I was surprised when it came in a vacuum sealed package and the front ties would have to be put in manually if wanted. I don't mind because I didn't want them on the pants but it was unexpected.

As soon as I made this purchase, I started to feel buyer's remorse. But when it arrived and I tried it on, I was really surprised (pleasantly) at the quality. I live on the beach and so wearing these pants over my bikini is my hood is something that is definitely not eyebrow-raising. I did get a couple of compliments. I bought the smallest size. I wish the pants weren't loose in the crotch. I would love them to be hip-hugging and close to the crotch and rest as it is, flaring out at the legs and meeting at the ankles. I am only 5'1'' and a size 0 but I didn't have a problem with the length because of the elastic at the angles. I love how the pants look when sitting down as they let you show off your legs (well, my legs, anyway).
