This impulse buy was the MVP of my trip

I purchased this little stool thinking it could be used as a foot rest on the beach with beach chairs, and potentially used in lines at amusement parks.
I am prone to joint pain and a hotel bed gave me a bad hip and back pain. This stool ended up being my saving grace. It is small enough that I was able to pop it in and out of my backpack in a second even without twisting it to the smaller fold.
I was able to sit in long lines at amusement parks and the zoo, and by the end of the day I was in less pain than at the start.
I used it at the beach by carrying it by hand along the water's edge and sitting and standing on a whim. I wouldn't have been able to stand there while my kid played as long as I was able to sit. I also used it as a foot rest when sitting in my beach chair.
I plan to carry this in my purse on a daily basis because you never know when you need spontaneous seating, such as standing in long lines, bus stops, waiting for a ride, etc.
I am 5'2, 115lbs and I ordered "medium for slim adults." It is very small but I felt stable on it.

This still set up and breaks down extremely fast. It's also very lightweight and easy to back.
A fantastic stool but the nut on the bolt came off the first week and had to be replaced. Added a locking Washer and it's been good ever since.

Great for field work!

I used this on a 6-week geology field course last summer in the eastern Sierra Nevada and White Mtns. It fit nicely in my day pack and was fairly easy to assemble once I got the hang of it.
It's super lightweight, and as far as I can tell pretty sturdy. I don't think I put THAT much stress on it, but it held up in and out of a very tightly-packed day pack for 6-10 hour days the entire course. For reference, I am 5'2" and 120 lbs (54kg), and my boyfriend, who sat in it occasionally, is 5'8" and 135 lbs (61 kg). We didn't dare test its weight capacity further, given the circumstances, but it seemed like it could take more.
My boyfriend had a bigger chair (with a back rest) that he tied to his pack, but told me several times that he was jealous of how small and lightweight mine was. His was always bonking around and hitting him/his pack, while mine was tucked neatly away -- out of sight, out of mind. I got a lot of amused reactions from other students and TAs when I brought it out since it's so tiny, but the amusement tended to turn to jealousy pretty quickly.
It's not great for lounging, obviously, but if you just need to take some weight off your feet for a bit, or if you need to be low to the ground without straining your knees, this will come in very handy. I did a LOT of mapping and took a LOT of measurements while sitting on this stool. The only trick is finding a somewhat level patch of ground to set up on, but I didn't have much trouble with that, even at the notoriously jagged Poleta Folds.

Nice tiny portable seat. Handy in a pinch.

At first, this little folding stool can be a bit confusing to unfold and fold back, but once you figure it out, it works fine. The stool is pretty tiny and low to the ground, So it is not suitable for bigger people or people who have knee or hip joint problems unless you seat on it next to something you can grab hold of to stand back up or have a cane for leverage. It is fine for smaller adults and kids. Not sure how long it will last. I got it so I could have some to sit on if my back started to hurt while I was on a tour. Since it folds and is very light weight, you can clip it to the outside of your day pack and have it ready when you need it. I had looked into some of the more expensive canes with folding seats, but they were all too long for me and would have been hard to modify. Plus this little stool and a folding aluminum cane together are less cumbersome to pac around.
