Impossible nylon locking nuts

The nylon locking nuts were way too tight to be attached to the bolts. I twisted one bolt apart in trying. Fortunately, I have a tap and die set and one of the taps was the same thread as the nut. I use the tap to ream out the nylon and then I was able to get the nuts to go on to the bolts. The chairs are very comfortable once I was able to get them together.

The two chairs arrived early which was a nice surprise. I assembled the first one in about 30 minutes, but changed out tools that were provided, and used my own to finish. The second chair took only 10 minutes with my tools. But very easy to put together, and the chairs are very sturdy. Only drawback is that they are not as brown as I would like, and even have a little tint of orange, but I am hoping the weather will change the color. They look good on my deck, but dont really match the dining set, but that is being replaced also, so I am sure it will work out.
I did a lot of research before I bought these, and the others would take 6-8 weeks for delivery, so I am very pleased that these came so fast, and again, are very sturdy, and very easy to assemble.

Good chairs, the packaging needs some work

We like the comfy chairs and they were relatively easy for one person to put together. Our main grip is how the hardware was packaged. It was all in a thin plastic bag that was broken open in side every one of the four chairs we received. Fortunately, the boxes were well sealed, so all the parts were still there, but the plastic had some minor scuff marks from all the hardware moving around inside the boxes. We are looking forward to get many years of enjoyment out of them.
