Works as expected, though as many have mentions the jaws dont close completely.

Buyer beward that the jaws dont close to the point where they touch and this might be an issue for you if you need to cut very thin wire or your material needs a small tolerance to finally snap away. Tested with 1/4 inch wire and cut just fine, but I can imagine very thin wire link might not work on this design. I might think 1/16 wire might not cut on this unit based on the opening of the jaws at full close. Kind of a shame as it would take minor changes to have the jaws opening either be zero or much closer to zero than this design.
In saying all that, there isnt really anything that comes close to this price and ease for what this tool does and I do commend Ryobi for that, but can acknowledge they got so close to a great product only to slightly miss. My only other feedback to Ryobi would be to make the jaws easily replaceable with spares available for purchase (none that I am aware of). Would I buy again? For what I do with them, yes. Easily yes.

I really like this. It makes cutting a bolt so much easier. To be fair,it's not as lightweight as a manual bolt cutter, but you're also not dislocating your shoulder with this
Works like a charm

I used this bolt cutter to remove 40' over old chain link fencing. It cut thru dozens of rusty links like a hot knife thru butter.
