Chocolate brown is neutral enough that you could color it up with some turquoise heels or nude ones with a colorful faux silk neck scarf.
In a pinch I suppose it could work for a party but I see it as more business than pleasure. As long as your business is indoors today. This wouldn't really work on a site visit or with work boots. I like that despite it being sexy it's also not very low cut which is awesome for us girls with the DDs. Enough shown without trying. And that it's down to the knees or slightly below, not showing the knees, yet cut a bit in the fabric on the back which makes walking fast & comfortably totally doable. I'm not doing a yoga class in this dress which is usually a requirement for my business attire, but it's comfortable enough that I feel hugged, held and professional without feeling restricted or having anything "dig in." This is why dresses are > than suits every.single.day. I'll be honest it was a bit hard to zip and I thought "sh - ! - should I have gotten a medium?" No. Small is right for 5'3, 130, curvy athletic, 28 in waist and 32DD. Don't ask me what my hips are but I wear size 4. Maybe 36 or so? The top IS roomy, again a GOOD thing for if you have breasts. I also have somewhat narrow ish shoulders and didn't feel anything was dropping or drooping or falling out. The cut is cool. Unusual. Unique. Therefore I'd say this is true to size, and there is room to stretch a little. It is reminiscent of the fifties. I was born in the seventies so I don't really know but from what I can tell it's pretty retro. Retro works in the Professional office setting as long as it's not gaudy or overdone. this is Not lined, either, thank goodness. Lined clothes are so restrictive. I'm one of those "highly sensitive" body types who cannot wear things that cut into my skin and I need stretchy soft fabrics that hug comfortably. yoga pants in court don't cut it though, sad enough. This works well enough that I might consider a second color. Emerald green maybe if that's an option.

I'm 5'4 (36-32-42) 153 lbs. This dress feels amazing. Upon opening the package, as soon as I touched the dress I was amazed at the quality of the dress. Not thin, light and cheap. A nice substantial weight without feeling heavy at all. The quality makes this a $100 dress for sure. The fit is just as amazing. It is definitely TRUE TO SIZE. I am a solid 36-32-42. I went through reviews and it was hard to tell based on many not leaving their body dimensions with the size they chose. Saw someone with my slight dimensions and her fit looked very nice at a medium but a little too tight. I wanted a form fit without it looking too tight. So I risked just getting a Large based on suggested size chart to fit my waist and hit area if nothing else. . (I'm normally a medium in dresses)

I hoped for the best as I slipped it on and smiled the entire time. OMG. It fit like glove. Not too tight where it hugged unflattering areas too much. It was perfect. Fits form without looking like it fits too tight. To achieve this I suggest matching your measurements. The layers on stomach area fell perfectly and everything was still form fitting and flattering. Im still smiling guys.

I really like this dress but it runs small, especially if you have a thick mid-section and large breast. I would have to go up two sizes, but than the zipper and top back area would be too big. If you have a slender figure, go for it.

I was pleasantly surprised it just how perfectly this dress fit. The style hides my midsection without Spanx. I received many compliments the first time a wore it. Only bad part is the back zipper...I have to have help getting into and out of the dress.

I'm a 180 -180# very deceiving because I'm physically fit muscle is heavier. I look about a 130 -135 pounds. Hour glass shape.
Only thing I didn't like it came delivered in the mail-in a clear package which everyone sees the contents of the package.
