I will admit, I'm a bit of a jewelry hoarder. Necklaces and earrings are my weakness. My collection had started to take over my dresser. Overflowing jewelry box, trays, hangers... even hooks hanging on my vanity mirror. I didn't want another small solution to add to the clutter and my beloved jewelry was becoming an eyesore.

I discovered these mirror storage cabinets and was immediately interested. I read reviews on all of them and chose this particular one for the following features:
1. Necklace hooks were long enough so jewelry didn't get trapped in the door. Smaller cabinets had reviews that the hook length wasn't practical.
2. The light feature. This takes 3 AAA batteries and the housing is easy to access at the top of the case (not from inside which could be a hassle when it's full of jewelry). The light is automatic. You keep it turned on and there's a switch on the door that turns the light off when you close the door and turns on when you open it. Like a refrigerator lol. But very convenient, no turning the switch on and off or forgetting to turn it off and killing the battery.
3. The locking feature. I admit, I won't likely use this feature much. But it's definitely nice to have if you need it. Comes with 2 keys that are with the hardware packaging (I thought mine was missing, just a heads up where to find it).
4. I like that this could hang on the door or wall. I chose to hang it on the wall, but the flexibility is nice for the future. A mirror on a footed stand would have limited where I could put it and would take up more space.
5. I really like the clear cup storage (I use it for bangle bracelets) and the shelves on the inside. I was able to store some of my extra skin care stuff and save space in my bathroom closet as well.

I love the simple look of this, it would fit in any decor. The mirror is clear and doesn't distort the reflection.

This was the best Christmas gift I could've gotten for myself. I love this, I would buy it again. In fact, I might need another, I already filled this one with my collection!!! I would rate this a million stars if I could, I'm so very satisfied with this purchase.

Let's start with likes:
-Good gift for the women in your life
-Stores a good amount of jewelry, makeup, etc.
-Easy to assemble
-LED lights are a nice touch

Dislikes: The only thing that would prevent me from buying this product in the future is the issue with the door staying closed. After a few weeks, the door will have issues shutting, so beware that you identify the issue and return the product before your return window (30 days) closes. I think the issue happens depending on how you install it (wall vs. over-the-door). In this case, I installed it over the door.

UPDATE: The seller was able to send me a hardware piece for the door. I replaced it and it is now closing completely. The hardware piece that was sent to me appears to have a stronger magnet than the original one that came with the mirror. For future product manufacturing, I hope the seller will look into using the piece they shipped me on every single mirror!

I debated and agonized over which of these mirrors to purchase for my growing makeup collection and measly jewlery collection, consisting of mostly necklaces and some body jewlery. I am really happy I chose this one. I have not tested the lights.
Great high quality glass mirror. Not cheap plastic.
Wonderful for small aparements and space saving!!! If you have a small space, this is the one you need.

Pros:
Good hardware
Decent Storage Capacity
Good padding and tape on the back to keep it in place
Once up, it doesn't go anywhere. Its up.
Lock mechanism is of high quality, similar to a locking file cabinet.
I've probably got about 20lbs. of items all together and Im not worried about it falling.

Cons:
I imagine the tape will cause paint damage on a door or wall and I regret not swapping for command strips or similar to prevent this
If you have a SERIOUS makeup or jewlery haul, this might not hold it all. It doesn't hold all of mine. About 2/3.
Frustrating to wall mount. Took me a really long time and lots of cussing. The over the door method would be ten times easier but I wanted it in one spot on the wall.

All in all, I love my mirror and cabinet and it makes a great addition to my small apartment. Saves me a ton of space and honestly, time doing my makeup because its all organized and ready to use.

Really does well at keeping my jewelry organized and having a nice place to display my nice things. I wish the organization of it was a little more customizable. I would like to have more places for necklaces and less for earrings and shelf storage. Overall love it!
