The cover fit perfect (we measured first and chose the XL). The fabric is light and breathable, and is protecting the couch from our dogs very nicely. It will fit easily in the washer/dryer. I really like the long back - it is long enough that it does not slump down when people sit on the couch. It stays in place. We really like it and will get another for the loveseat.

I've been using Queen size sheets to cover my sofa to protect it from dirt and fur from our dog. In the colder months I was using fleece blankets. Fast forward 15 years and a new dog and those items were getting old and worn.

I started looking into quilt covers for sofas and recliners and stumbled upon this brand and product.

As others have mentioned, measure your sofa or chair to get the proper sized item! I cannot stress this enough.

Mine arrived within two days ( weather delay) and came in a flat thin box. The item itself came in a zippered plastic envelope with 4 Styrofoam sticks. ( These I opted not to use )

The fit is ideal for my sofa and closely resembles the actual dark gray cover. One would have to look twice to see the actual blanket.

I was happy to see it did not have a large strap that went around the back of the sofa. It actually had two Elastic straps that go over the back corners of my sofa, behind my cushions. Out of site.

Our guests this week brought there little dog who loves to dig in the blankets before settling down. This held up very well to a 17 lb. Min Pin and a 65 lb Entlebucher. No worse for wear at this time. It's comfortable to the touch as a quilted blanket should be.

I did also purchase the small recliner cover. Same quality and convenience. Sizing though is what gave this review 4 stars. It is shorter in width than anticipated. Much narrower. It works though but didn't realize that on a amperage comparison screen it gave its actual width. This is the information that is most important. How much of the seat and back cushion will be covered. It's plenty long but misses the mark on the seat cushion size. I should have ordered the larger one even though my chair fit the smaller recliner measurements.

It could be a fluke. Fingers crossed that it doesn't shrink when I wash it.

Easy to put on. Has elastic straps go I er back/side. 2 labs tested. Labs tore up the rubber inserts that hold arm cover in place. I just tuck in in edge of couch. Impressed with catching spills and also occasional wet lab on couch that gets by me. I have washed this cover min of 25 times. It dryes fast. So far color has not faded. We have 2 playful good labs. They wrestle sometimes and mess cover up but it doesn't come off the couch . Hope this review helps.

I've been buying these (this brand) for years. I always share my home with at least one 55 lb. dog, or should I say he shares with me, especially the couch and queen sized bed. He likes to scratch/cultivate his spot on the couch till it's ready to circle and finally curl up on. Amazingly, my current, and not too in the distant past other sweet dog's nails only once tore the fabric. Both dogs are Catahoula mix. Very strong.

They launder beautifully. The cover, not the dogs. The dogs refuse(d) to be bathed, period. Hence, the covers were washed frequently. The need to replace the covers as often as I did was simply due to the fact that my dogs enjoy eating fabric. Couch covers, bed sheets, leashes, and even an occasional flip flop.
In case you're wondering, my dogs have always been well fed with a veterinarian recommended diet. I'm just glad that their digestive systems were as powerful as their feet.

Oh, one more thing. The covers are very good looking with high quality quilting. 5 stars plus

Both wear well, stay in place with extra material for tucking into creases and securing with well-made small foam logs. Straps for backs are loose but extra material hanging over holds flap in place. Side flaps for arms are generous as well. Easy to put on and remove.
Have laundered several times and dried on low and they wear well. Good product.
