• •The Brugmansia Director Jarra (Summertime x Charleston is a hybrid introduced in 2011. It Produces showy, night-time fragrant, upside down hanging double flower within a flower trumpets in a celery green toned white.
• •The flowers are fragrant only at night and are attractive to a variety of night time pollinators.
• •It will mature as a large, upright growing, branched tree-like shrub with multiple trunks. Average mature size is about 8 to 10 feet within the recommended Zone Range.
• •Brugmansias are a unique, unusual and exotic looking plant that is suprisingly easy to grow. It performs best when located in light afternoon dappled shade. Feed twice per year in the Spring and early Fall, prune for shape after flowering and protect from frost and freeze.
• •Brugmansias are trropical plants recommended for USDA Zones 9, 10, 11 (Cold protection is recommended all Zones for the best year round appearance, earliest bloom, and longest life.). They are frequently grown outside of the recommended Zone Range but may require special accommodations such as supplemental light for overwintering as they do not adapt easily to indoor growing conditions.
