I am a farmer, and a handyman. My life is rugged. These shoes lasted longer than any of purchased in a long time. For years, I was wearing Asics with a wide toe box, but they would fall apart faster, and they weren't as comfortable.

These are great workout shoes. I use them when I do a gym workout. The shoes really give my feet room and feel very flexible and comfortable. I don't wear socks with them. The have a unique lacing system that permits easy on/off ability. Good shoes I will buy them again.

Love this shoes. The wide to definitely help with cramping feet, and the sole are thick where I can confidently go outside without hurting my feet with rocks. The rubber sole is perfect also for cross training. Best barefoot shoe for the price out there!

I have three pairs of these shoes and use them for a lot of activities. While they don't protect the metatarsal area of the top of the foot they do protect the front of the toes. They are extremely flexible and the tread is both substantial and durable. The uppers are thin, which is great for keeping the feet cool in the Summer. If you have bunions or other problems, they are flexible enough to accommodate less-than-perfect feet. I'm also a fan of the tri-athlete style of lacing, although to fit my feet I had to pull it tighter and trim the excess. If you wear thick socks consider going up 1/2 size, but otherwise they are true to size. I did so in order to fit orthotic inserts for my relatively flat feet (viewable on left pair). The shoes come with cushion insoles, but, obviously, for the price they aren't memory foam and don't have instep support. That being said, my $200 racing shoes don't either. I would purchase these again, and, in fact, have a pair in reserve in case they become unavailable. Amazon sells two different variants. Note the left pair has more protection for the front of the foot. I've been using these for more than 6 months and they are holding up well.
