I love this as an introductory tool for aerial yoga. It's sturdy and relatively easy to put together, despite it looking intimidating!

At first, I paired it with YOGABODY Naturals Trapeze Door Frame Bar Hang Your Yoga Trapeze Quickly & Easily in Most Standard Door Frames . When using the yoga swing with this, I had to remove the carabiners and not use the additional straps.
It's a pain in the ass, but I quickly learned the effectiveness of knowing how to tie a slip knot.

That worked well - In fact, it was probably the best way to self-teach [with the help of Google], but as soon as you get used to it, there's not enough room.
But great news!! Those pesky straps from before were perfect for hanging off a tree in the backyard -- Which offered ample room.

I'd rate this 5-stars, but the fabric is stiff; It can be painful. There are yoga-butt-pillows out there, but given they are ~50% the cost of this, I'd rather upgrade to a higher quality swing, not one made of what feels like parachute material.

It's fun and worth it. If you're unsure of whether or not you'll like using this for aerial yoga or back traction, this is a great way to get your feet wet in the privacy of your own home.

**Bonus: My back is kind of jacked up, and it hasn't felt this okay in over a year (obviously talk to your doctor first, if you have issues).**

I purchased this a couple of years ago. It is very durable, still in perfect condition. I purchased with the trapeze stand. I highly recommend this set up, super convenient.

If setting up indoors, perhaps consider the color of your decor. I wish I had gotten black, brown or beige. The teal stands out and looks tacky with my dark furniture.

I've had back surgery with ongoing pain issues. The yoga trapeze has been helpful with offering traction and low impact strength training (looks easy, but requires arm strength).

Whether I'm hanging to play, create traction, strengthening my back, it has been quite beneficial with managing my pain.

If you're considering this for back pain, I've found this to compliment well with starting with heating pad 10 min to loosen/warm muscles, then a few rounds of very slow sun salutation (I do 2-4 complete breaths for each pose to allow me more time to open up each stretch), then either a massage gun or a shiatsu massager for 5-10 min.... Then use the yoga trapeze. Finish up with icing back 10 min This combination has truly helped the intensity of my discomfort. I wish you the very best, as I do know chronic pain can suck the joy from life.

Lots of people use these for a new way to exercise. For me, I needed to find a way to exercise at all. I had knee replacement surgery a little over a year ago. All attempts at physical therapy failed, so I'm more or less on my own dealing with a knee that will neither bend nor straighten.
Seeing some of the videos out there gave me the idea I might at least get some range back if I used one of these diligently, so I decided to give it a try. I'll admit that doing anything on these takes a bit of getting used to, probably more so with an uncooperative side, but I can say I've made more progress than anything else I've tried thus far. And that's a long list. I actually have some hope that if I continue I may be able to walk one of these days. This thing makes it easy to stretch muscles that I haven't been able to get at ever. Not that there's no pain, but at least I'm making progress.
I must also say that the first one I received didn't have the little bag with the straps you attach the carabiners to. I got in touch with the seller who shipped me a whole new setup next day. And included a call tag for sending the old one back. All in all, I couldn't be happier.
Update: After a few months using this, I can honestly say it has been very helpful. I can even walk a block or two. I'll need some deep tissue massage pretty soon, as I feel the wall approaching, but all in all it is an excellent physical therapy tool.
My only regret is that I wish I'd have gotten the soft silk type. The edging on this tends to dig in at the most awkward times. Not that there's a good time for that. Plus, the handles are somewhat useful when you first start out, but I hardly use them now. Next one.
